We will provide your pet the same excellent medical care as always, while implementing precautions for the safety of you, your family, and the AADC team. Access inside the clinic is for pets only. Upon arrival for your appointment, please call us at 512-477-4824 from your car. A technician wearing a mask and gloves will come to your vehicle to escort your pet into the building. You may wait in our parking area, enjoy our front porch rocking chairs, take a walk, or leave and return within an hour. (Lake Austin Boulevard offers many restaurants which have outdoor seating, some even overlooking the lake). We will consult with you by phone during your pet’s appointment and you will receive Dr. Nichols’ extremely detailed multi-page Medical Report. If you or anyone in your household has been diagnosed with COVID-19 or is experiencing symptoms, please inform us in advance so we may take even further precautions with you and your pet. Thank you for understanding the need for safety so we can stay open in order to serve you and your beloved pets.

With gratitude, Dr. Patrick Nichols, Jennifer Nichols, their family, and the AADC Team

AADC provides advanced medical care to improve the lives of pets and their families.

We diagnose, treat, and manage complex and multi-faceted disorders of the skin and ears.

Dr. Patrick Nichols gained broad knowledge as a general practice veterinarian in Austin for nine years prior to completing a two-year residency at Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists in Houston, where his resident training was accredited by the American College of Veterinary Dermatology. He then completed an additional year internship at Dermatology for Animals in Southern California, working alongside and learning from some of the most highly-regarded Veterinary Dermatologists in the world. Now with over two decades of experience exclusively in the field of allergy and dermatology, he has the special training and expertise needed to get to the bottom of your pet's skin and ear issues. His skills compliment the care provided by your regular veterinarian, and he serves as a valuable resource for all general practitioners in the Central Texas area.

Dr. Nichols will work with you to identify the underlying cause of your pet's medical issues and provide treatment to achieve maximum comfort for your pet and peace of mind for you. Your best friend will receive quality care and attention in our comfortable and welcoming environment.
